Spring Storms in Texas

Sorry for the lack of new posts, I actually have several I'm in the middle of writing. But last week I graduated, which meant family in town and lots of running around with them. And then the other night we got hit by a violent storm.




It took out several windows












downed about half of our beloved pecan tree in our front yard











and smushed our garden.








Luckily one of my herb boxes survived, and Brian and the cats are all safe. We're hoping that at least some of the garden will recover. The tomato plants just need to be propped up, and we're going to wait on the rest and see how it does, before we plant anything new.
